FPC Fall Speaker Series
 Join us October 9 as Dwayne Burks, Chaplin for the Gaston YMCA and the Director of the Resource Connection Gateway, has graciously agreed to be the first of our speakers.

Dwayne is a dynamic, engaging, entertaining speaker with an uncanny knack for finding common ground among seemingly unconnected groups of people. With over 25 years of relational experience spanning three continents, Dwayne will inspire, motivate, educate, and collaborate in any setting. Dwayne's topic will be "Charity and Justice."

The next program, on October 23, features author, missionary, medical professional, and internationally known speaker Audrey Frank who will share the experiences which led to her book, “Covered Glory: The Face of Honor and Shame in the Muslim World.”
November 6, 2019, features Russ Keeney from CareNet Counseling. Russ will be covering the topic of video gaming and screen addiction. Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the speaker at 6:15 p.m. Please call the reception desk at 704-864-2651 for dinner reservations. The menu will be baked spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, caramel apple pecan cake, sweet tea, unsweet tea, water. Wednesday Night Alive will also be held on November 20, 2019.
The final program is November 20 when Gastonia native Kelly Ray Shelton helps the audience “Stretch and Relax” before the hectic holiday time! She has a background in theatre and fitness instruction and teaches Les Mills’ BODY FLOW and TONE and Chair Yoga at the Warlick family YMCA. (The audience can stay seated during the enjoyable program!)
